On the morning of June 2, 2025, at Room 707 in the Administration Building, Hong Duc University successfully organized a university-level scientific seminar titled “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Language Teaching, Testing, and Assessment.” This event was initiated by the Faculty of Foreign Languages with the aim of creating an academic forum for lecturers, students, and researchers to share experiences, research findings, and models of AI integration in foreign language education. The seminar provided valuable insights into the practical use of AI tools to enhance the effectiveness of teaching, learning, and assessment in the field of language education.

On the evening of May 28, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC) Awards Ceremony 2024 was solemnly held, co-organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The event drew significant attention from the national scientific community. Among the 43 outstanding projects honored this year, Hong Duc University was proud to receive a Third Prize for the project titled: “Research and Development of a Product Supporting Blood Glucose Regulation for Type 2 Diabetes Patients from Costus speciosus in the Mountainous Districts of Thanh Hoa Province.” The project was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Xuan Luong, Principal of Hong Duc Primary, Middle & High School.

On December 21, 2024, Hong Duc University, in collaboration with the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Haiphong University of Management and Technology, and the University of Economics – Technology for Industries, hosted the National Conference titled "Language Education for the Future: Innovation and Application." The conference aims to bring together academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Language and Language Teaching. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Language and Language Teaching.

During the two days of September 22 and 23, 2023, Hong Duc University coordinated with Representatives of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to organize an international conference: "Tourism development associated with economic development - local society" to exchange and update knowledge, research results and share programs and projects on tourism development for the local economy and social development, thereby proposing solutions and strategies for sustainable tourism development in localities. The conference also contributes to strengthening cooperation in training, research and application of science and technology between German alumni, scientists, agencies and organizations at home and abroad.
