The seminar welcomed the participation of Ms. Vu Thi Thu Hien – Leader of the English Department at Lam Son High School for the Gifted, and Ms. Luu Thi Hong Sam – English teacher at the same institution. From Hong Duc University, notable attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Kim Phuong – Head of Science, Technology & International Cooperation Office; Dr. Le Dinh Nghiep – Director of the Information Technology, Communications and Services Library center; along with many lecturers and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

In the opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Kim Phuong emphasized that applying AI in foreign language teaching is an inevitable trend in the digital transformation era. AI not only supports instructors in personalizing learning processes, automating grading, and providing instant feedback but also enhances interaction and overall teaching effectiveness. However, to fully leverage this technology, educators must adapt their pedagogical thinking and educational approaches while also addressing emerging challenges such as copyright issues, ethical AI use, and digital competence.

These reports highlighted the current, practical, and research-based insights into how AI is being utilized in foreign language education. The seminar also featured vibrant discussions that further clarified the benefits, limitations, and ethical/legal implications of implementing AI in teaching and learning.
