Fostering Closer Collaboration between Hong Duc University and Khanh Hoa University

On May 28, 2025, within the framework of the national scientific conference themed “Enhancing the Quality and Efficiency of Universities under Provincial and Municipal Authorities in the Context of Integration” held at Khanh Hoa University, a delegation from Hong Duc University conducted an official visit to the host institution, opening up promising and sustainable cooperation opportunities between the two universities.

The delegation from Hong Duc University was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung – Party Secretary and President. Welcoming and working with the delegation were Dr. Phan Phien – President of Khanh Hoa University – along with the university’s Board of Presidents and representatives from various units.

In his welcome speech, Dr. Phan Phien expressed his delight at receiving the delegation and introduced an overview of Khanh Hoa University’s development journey and strategic directions. He highlighted the leading role of Hong Duc University among universities managed by provincial and municipal authorities, emphasizing its contributions in connecting and advancing the overall development of this university network. He expressed hopes for continued strong collaboration in the future.

Representing the visiting delegation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung extended sincere thanks for the warm and thoughtful reception. He provided an overview of Hong Duc University’s development as a multidisciplinary institution committed to training high-quality human resources for Thanh Hoa Province and the country. He expressed a desire to exchange experiences in areas such as undergraduate and postgraduate education, scientific research, staff management, and financial autonomy.

During the meeting, Head of both universities engaged in in-depth discussions and shared practical experiences on various critical topics, including institutional development strategies, curriculum expansion, student recruitment, implementation of university autonomy, scientific research enhancement, and international cooperation. Both sides reached high consensus on specific cooperation directions for the future, aiming to jointly contribute to the advancement of Vietnam’s higher education system.
