The conference aimed to strengthen legal education and awareness, and to enhance the sense of responsibility among students, staff and employees in observing regulations on security and public order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, crime and drug prevention, social evils, and violations of law in cyberspace.

Attending the conference were Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Tho, Deputy Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Division of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Su, Deputy Head of Hac Thanh Ward Police; along with officers and speakers from the Drug Crime Investigation Division and Hac Thanh Ward Police. On the side of Hong Duc University, there were Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Thi Mai, Vice President of the University, together with leaders of faculties, units and mass organizations.

Overview of the Conference
In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai emphasized the important role of legal communication and education in shaping civic awareness and building a safe, disciplined educational environment. She also called on all units, organizations and students to seriously implement the contents disseminated at the conference.

At the event, representatives of the Drug Crime Investigation Division, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, provided information and guidance on crime prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention, drug abuse and prostitution. Meanwhile, Hac Thanh Ward Police disseminated regulations and skills related to cybersecurity, strictly prohibiting the sharing and commenting on negative or misleading images and videos on social networks; guiding procedures for temporary residence and absence registration; ensuring compliance with traffic laws; and equipping students with skills to prevent and respond to potential risks.

A highlight of the conference was the signing ceremony of the 2026 commitment to law compliance between the University and representatives of faculties, mass organizations and affiliated units. The commitments focused on strictly observing regulations on security and public order, traffic safety and environmental sanitation; not trading, transporting, storing or using illegal drugs; not using or possessing illegal supporting tools or fireworks; not spreading false or negative information in cyberspace; strictly complying with the Road Traffic Law with the message “No drinking and driving”; and implementing well the code of conduct, office culture, fire prevention and fighting, food safety, and economical use of electricity and water.
