On January 18, 2026, at Hong Duc University (HDU), the 2026 University Admissions and Career Counseling Program, jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), was held in a vibrant atmosphere.

At HDU’s admissions counseling booth, a wide range of well-organized and engaging activities were conducted to provide comprehensive information about academic programs and enrollment opportunities. With practical and useful advice from HDU’s admissions counseling team, it is hoped that 2K8 candidates will have a solid basis for selecting suitable study programs and confidently enter a high-quality learning environment, thereby building a strong foundation for their future careers.

In 2026, Hong Duc University (HDT) will admit undergraduate students to 42 academic programs with an expected intake of 4,050 students nationwide (teacher education programs are open only to applicants with permanent residence in Thanh Hoa Province). The University applies four admission methods, with the National High School Graduation Examination 2026 as the primary basis, together with consideration of high school academic records (excluding teacher education), direct admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, and results of the competency/aptitude assessment tests. Training quality is ensured by a highly qualified faculty, including 32 Associate Professors and 168 PhD holders, and a modern campus covering nearly 478,000 m² with dormitory capacity for about 1,800 students. The University has been accredited for the second quality assurance cycle, with 26 programs meeting national accreditation standards. In 2026, Hong Duc University also offers attractive incentives such as a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year for candidates achieving 26.00/30 points or higher (without bonus points), free dormitory accommodation for students from outside Thanh Hoa Province, and strengthened partnerships with enterprises to support internships and graduate employment.
