Hong Duc University Journal Granted Higher Recognition Scores in Education and Economics by the State Council for Professorship

On July 11, 2025, the State Council for Professorship issued Decision No. 26/QĐ-HĐGSNN approving the list of accredited scientific journals for 2025. According to the decision, the Journal of Science of Hong Duc University has marked another milestone as its publication scores were increased in two academic fields: Education Science (from 0.5 to 0.75 points) and Economics (from 0.25 to 0.5 points)

The Hong Duc University Journal of Science (HDUJS) has made a remarkable impact in the academic publishing landscape of Vietnam. As of now, the Journal has been officially recognized in the List of Accredited Scientific Journals by six Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Professor Councils of the State Council for Professorship. Specifically, the Journal is rated for the following fields:

Literature: 0 – 0.75 points
Educational Science: 0 – 0.75 points
Agriculture and Forestry: 0 – 0.5 points
Economics: 0 – 0.5 points
Mathematics: 0 – 0.5 points
Physics: 0 – 0.5 points

Licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications under License No. 261/GP-BTTTT dated September 17, 2024, the Journal serves as a prestigious multidisciplinary academic forum. It publishes original research articles from lecturers, researchers, graduate students, and students both within and outside the University. The scope spans a wide range of disciplines, including Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences and Humanities, Economics and Business Administration, Law, Agriculture–Forestry–Fisheries, Educational Management, and related fields.

HDUJS operates under a strict double-blind peer review process, ensuring academic integrity and quality. It publishes ten issues per year in Vietnamese and one special issue annually in English.

With over 15 years of dedicated operation, the Journal has published more than 1,500 scientific papers, establishing itself as a trusted academic outlet of Hong Duc University. Its Editorial Board comprises highly respected scholars, supported by a team of experienced peer reviewers from leading domestic and international institutions. The editorial process strictly adheres to the regulations of the Press Law and Publishing Law of Vietnam.

The Journal is committed to academic freedom, integrity, and fairness. It continually strives to enhance the efficiency of its review process while upholding the highest standards of academic quality.

In line with its internationalization goals and increasing academic standards set by the State Council for Professorship, Hong Duc University has launched an online journal publishing system, which is now operational at: https://hdujs.edu.vn. All published articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to enhance their visibility and accessibility.

Furthermore, the University has been granted a new publishing license by the Ministry of Information and Communications, allowing the Journal to be published both in print and electronic formats, thereby meeting the growing demand for research publication from scholars inside and outside the university.
