Exchange Program between the Youth Union and Students’ Association of Hong Duc University and Dong Thanh High School (Quang Ninh Province)

On the morning of January 10, 2026, at Hong Duc University, the Youth Union and the Student Association organized an exchange program with students from Dong Thanh High School (Quang Ninh Province). The program aimed to strengthen career counseling and guidance for high school students, while also enhancing cooperation and fostering closer ties between the two educational institutions.

Representing Dong Thanh High School were Mr. Vu Tien Dung – Vice Principal and Head of the delegation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Van – Deputy Head of the delegation; together with teachers and a large number of students.

On the side of Hong Duc University, participants included Mr. Truong Ngoc Binh, M.A. – Secretary of the University Youth Union; Dr. Vu Van Duan – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and President of the Students’ Association; members of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union, the Executive Committee of the Students’ Association, and many HDU students.

At the program, representatives of the Youth Union and Students’ Association introduced an overview of the history and development of Hong Duc University, its training programs and academic disciplines, admission methods, learning and living conditions, scholarship opportunities, scientific research, student activities, and career prospects after graduation. The information was presented clearly and practically, attracting great interest from Dong Thanh High School students.

The exchange also provided time for students to raise questions related to admissions, curricula, student life, dormitory facilities, and study skills in the university environment. These questions were directly answered by representatives of the Youth Union, Students’ Association, and HDU students, creating an open and lively atmosphere of discussion.

In his remarks, Mr. Vu Tien Dung, Vice Principal of Dong Thanh High School, expressed his sincere thanks for the warm and thoughtful reception from Hong Duc University. He also shared his positive impression of the University’s scale and dynamic learning and training environment. He emphasized that the program offered valuable and practical information, helping students gain a clearer basis for choosing suitable majors and careers in line with their abilities, interests, and social needs.

Through this exchange, the Youth Union and Students’ Association of Hong Duc University once again affirmed their role in accompanying high school students in career counseling and orientation, contributing to improving the quality of student recruitment and strengthening cooperation among educational institutions in the region.
