Hong Duc University Celebrates Graduation of Over 1,500 Students in 2025

On July 14, 2025, Hong Duc University solemnly held its Graduation and Degree Awarding Ceremony at the university's Grand Hall, celebrating the academic achievements of more than 1,500 undergraduate and college-level students from the formal education system. This significant event served not only as a moment of pride and recognition for the new graduates but also as a heartfelt tribute to their perseverance and dedication during their time at the university.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of representatives from various provincial departments and organizations, including the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Education and Training, the Thanh Hoa Business Association, the Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association, and many business leaders and partners from across the province.

Representing Hong Duc University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Viet Bau – Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung – Vice Party Committee Secretary and President; members of the University Board; heads of departments and faculties; faculty members, staff, and all graduating students of the Class of 2025. Notably, the ceremony welcomed the parents of 38 students graduating with highest honors, who stood as shining examples of this year’s outstanding cohort.

In his inspiring address, President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung extended warmest congratulations to the new bachelors and engineers. He remarked, “While four years at university may seem brief in the grand journey of life, it marks a turning point—a moment of intellectual and personal maturity, laying the foundation for your future.”

The President also emphasized the importance of gratitude, continuous self-improvement, and a bold vision for the future. He encouraged students to embrace the era of digital transformation, global integration, and new challenges in career ethics and technology.

On behalf of the university leadership, he expressed deep appreciation to the dedicated lecturers and staff, and sincere thanks to the families who supported the students throughout their studies.

Representing the graduates, Mạch Thu Huyền from Class K24 (Accounting Faculty) delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing deep gratitude to teachers, families, and friends. “Hong Duc University is not just a place of learning,” she shared, “it is where I discovered myself, learned to live with responsibility, love, and empathy.” Huyền also reflected on the vibrant student life beyond academics—through Union and Association activities and her honor of being admitted to the Communist Party during her studies.
