Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh Elected to the People’s Council of Hac Thanh Ward for the 2026–2031 Term

On March 18, 2026, the Election Committee of Hac Thanh Ward issued Decision No. 45/QĐ-UBBC, officially announcing the list of elected members to the People’s Council of Hac Thanh Ward for the second term, 2026–2031.

According to the announcement, the ward successfully elected a full slate of 30 delegates, ensuring the required structure, composition, and number across 10 electoral units. Notably, in Electoral Unit No. 4, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh—Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Hong Duc University—was elected with 12,750 votes, representing 93.23% of the total votes.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of Hong Duc University

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh was born on November 8, 1977, in Kim Tan Commune, Thanh Hoa Province, and currently resides in Ham Rong Ward, Thanh Hoa Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, having joined in June 1999 and becoming an official member in June 2000. He holds a PhD in Economics from Aix-Marseille University (France), a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering. He also possesses advanced political theory qualifications.

Currently, he serves as a Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of Hong Duc University, and Editor-in-Chief of the Hong Duc University Journal of Science. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership and management positions in the fields of science, training, and international cooperation at the University. He has received postgraduate education both in Vietnam and in France.

With many years of dedication and contributions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training, and the title of Provincial-level Emulation Fighter. He is also currently serving as Vice President of the Vietnam–Laos Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa Province.

His election to the People’s Council of Hac Thanh Ward reflects both the trust of voters and recognition of his professional competence, leadership experience, and commitment to public service
