Delegates attending the seminar
The seminar aimed to enhance awareness and capacity in university governance amidst comprehensive educational reforms. It was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Viet Bau – Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung – President of the University; along with members of the university leadership, department heads, and faculty representatives.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Quang provided in-depth insights into the legal framework, current models of university autonomy in Vietnam and abroad, practical challenges, and the relationship between autonomy and curriculum development. He emphasized the pivotal role of lecturers in designing flexible, interdisciplinary, and learner-centered training programs aligned with societal needs.

The seminar also included discussions between Prof. Quang and Hồng Đức University faculty on applying suitable autonomy models for Hồng Đức University, and improving curriculum quality through the CDIO approach, digital skill integration, and innovative assessment methods.

In his closing remarks, Assoc.
