The conference sought to mobilize the collective strength of the entire sector in fostering innovative thinking, accelerating the application of science, technology, and digital transformation in education and training, and gradually universalizing digital knowledge and skills for all members of society.
At the main venue in MOET headquarters, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc, leaders of MOET’s affiliated units, representatives of Departments of Education and Training, as well as leaders from higher education, vocational training, and general education institutions attended the event. In his opening address, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc emphasized the importance of these movements in the context of the education sector’s strong transformation towards innovation and global integration. The two major campaigns aim to motivate educational institutions to effectively implement digital transformation tasks, reform teaching and learning methods, integrate artificial intelligence and digital technologies into training and management, promote lifelong learning, and enhance digital competence for all citizens.
The conference also featured presentations from exemplary institutions, sharing effective models and experiences in implementing digital transformation and expanding digital literacy. Notable contributions came from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, Hanoi High-Tech College, and Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
For Hong Duc University, the conference was an important opportunity to grasp MOET’s key policies and orientations, enabling the university to translate them into practical and context-appropriate action plans that contribute positively to the nationwide innovation and digital transformation efforts.
In the coming period, Hong Duc University will develop concrete plans to implement the two movements in alignment with its academic, training, research, and university governance activities. The university will intensify the application of digital technologies in teaching and learning, promote digital literacy among students, staff, and lecturers, and actively introduce and replicate successful digital transformation models, thereby contributing to spreading the movement throughout the education sector.
