On the morning of March 23, 2021, Comrade Seng Phet Hung Bun Nhuong - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR in Vietnam and the delegation of the Embassy paid a working visit to Hong Duc University. Dr. Hoang Van Thi –Rector, Associate Professor, and Dr. Hoang Thi Mai - Vice Rector, head of functional departments and a large number of Lao students gave warm welcome to the delegation.
At the meeting, Dr. Hoang Van Thi - Rector of the University is honored to report to the Ambassador on the university training results in recent years, especially the education, training and management to Lao students at Hong University. The Rector affirmed: Hong Duc University is very happy and honored to welcome the Ambassador and the delegation. The university hopes that the cooperation between Hong Duc University and Hua Phan province in particular and Lao PDR in general will be developed sustainably.
Speaking at the meeting, the Ambassador gave thanks to leaders and lecturers of Hong Duc University for always give efforts in training high quality human resource for Lao PDR. The Ambassador said that the students who return from Hong Duc University are dedicating very well in many professional fields and holding many important positions in government department of Laos. In the coming time, he wished that the university and relevant departments of the Lao PDR would have more effective coordination in Vietnamese language training, management and information exchange for Lao students in a timely manner. In the framework of the visit and working session at Hong Duc University, the Ambassador also spent time talking with nearly 200 Lao students. He sent the wishes for good health and success to all the students.
