At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham The Anh - Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (IT & ICT) presented a report on the cooperation results between Hong Duc University and Tours University. For more than 10 years, Hong Duc University and Tours University have had many effective cooperation programs: Tours University has guided 03 PhD students who are lecturers of Hong Duc University, in which 01 PhD student was granted a full PhD scholarship from Tours University worth 2 billion VND (for 3 years); support lecturers of Hong Duc University in publishing 17 articles in prestigious scientific journals in France and in international conferences; implement student exchange programs and credit recognition between the two universities…
Also at the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on a number of cooperation contents in the coming time, such as: Carry out the exchange program of lecturers and students between University of Tours and Hong Duc University. In 2023, there will be at least 02 French students to practice at Hong Duc University. Hong Duc University will also select students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology to study master and doctor program and attend training program at Polytech Tours University. In addition, the two universities agreed the terms of the cooperation agreement on the development of scientific research activities.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Van Dung - Rector of the University expressed the thankfulness to Professor Mathieu for the support and cooperation of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology and Hong Duc University; at the same time affirming that the proposed contents of cooperation between the two sides are very meaningful, in line with the development orientation of Hong Duc University in the coming period; making an important contribution to affirming the prestige and position of the University in the country and abroad. On this occassion, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Van Dung cordially invites Prof. Mathieu teaches and co-supervises Master's theses for graduate students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.
Prof. Mathieu thanked the respectful and warm welcome of the leaders and lecturers of Hong Duc University and expressed his belief that the meeting will lay the foundation for the two universities to continue implementing cooperation activities, specifically in the fields of training and science, thereby promoting the development of the parties in the future./.
