In 2026, the University recorded 137 parents of staff members reaching milestone ages of 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, and over 100. Delegations led by members of the University’s Board of Rectors, the Trade Union, and departmental union representatives visited the families to present congratulatory letters and gifts.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Hoằng Bá Huyền, President of the University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Chí Thành, Vice President, together with representatives of several units, visit and extend longevity wishes to the father-in-law of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoàng Thị Mai, Vice President.
During the visits, representatives extended warm wishes for good health, longevity, and happiness to the elderly and their families, contributing to a joyful and meaningful start to the Lunar New Year.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Chí Thành, Vice President, together with representatives of the University Trade Union and leaders of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, extends longevity wishes to the mother-in-law of Ms. Nguyễn Thị Việt Hưng, Deputy Head of the Science, Technology and International Cooperation Office.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoàng Thị Mai, Vice President, and representatives of the University Trade Union extend longevity wishes to the 103-year-old father of Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Tú from the Quality Assurance & Testing Office.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đậu Bá Thìn, Vice President, and Dr. Nguyễn Văn Toàn, Chairman of the University Trade Union, extend longevity wishes to the mother of Mr. Phạm Văn Hùng, Deputy Director of the National Defence & Security Education Center

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Chí Thành, Vice President, together with representatives of the University Trade Union and leaders of the Information Technology, Communication and Library services Center, extends longevity wishes to the mother-in-law of Mr. Trần Minh Ngọc, Deputy Director of the Center, who is also the mother of Ms. Chung Thị Thúy, lecturer of the Faculty of Education.
This activity not only demonstrates the University’s care for the families of its staff but also strengthens the bond between the institution, its employees, and their loved ones, while continuing to promote the humane and cultural values of Hong Duc University.
