The program attracted strong interest from students and was part of the University’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with enterprises and support students in career orientation and employability development.
Overview of the Program
Representing AEON Vietnam were Ms. Pham Hong Tuyen, Head of Supermarket Project Development Department; Ms. Vu Thi Huong Lan and Ms. Pham Thanh Thuy, Specialists in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning, together with a team of recruitment experts and human resource officers. On the side of Hong Duc University, the program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai, Vice President of the University, leaders and lecturers of various units, and nearly 450 students.

In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai emphasized the important role of university–enterprise linkage in higher education today, particularly in accompanying students in career orientation, equipping them with essential skills, and providing early access to the labor market. She affirmed that the seminar was a practical activity contributing to the effective implementation of the University’s plans for start-up support, innovation, and improving training quality in line with real-world demands.

Representatives of AEON Vietnam expressed their pleasure in cooperating with Hong Duc University in career guidance activities for students. Within the framework of the program, AEON Vietnam introduced an overview of the corporation and the AEON Future Leaders Program – a well-structured management trainee program designed for young talents with leadership potential. The speakers then delivered a presentation on the topic: “From Staff to Team Leader – What Do You Need to ‘Upgrade’ First?”, sharing practical experiences on professional skills, self-development mindset, and career advancement pathways in enterprises.
The discussion and Q&A session took place in an open and lively atmosphere, attracting great interest from students. Many questions related to recruitment opportunities, competency requirements, essential skills, and AEON’s working environment were directly answered by the experts. In addition, students participated in interactive activities with recruitment specialists, helping them enhance their understanding of job application processes and practical employability skills.
Exchange and Interaction Between Students and Representatives of AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. at the Program
The program concluded with a summary session, souvenir presentation, and a group photo of delegates, speakers, and students. The seminar left a positive impression, contributing to strengthening the cooperative relationship between Hong Duc University and AEON Vietnam, and opening up more practical career opportunities for the University’s students in the future.
