Promoting Stronger Collaboration Between Government, Universities and Enterprises

For Hong Duc University and vocational education institutions, the Department of Education and Training has emphasized the importance of proactive collaboration with the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Authority, the Thanh Hoa Business Association, and enterprises operating in the province.

Educational institutions are encouraged to work closely with businesses to identify workforce demand, training specialties, and employment opportunities after graduation. This cooperation will help develop training programs that meet industry requirements and ensure graduates possess the professional knowledge and practical skills needed by employers.

The Department also encourages the implementation of innovative cooperation models such as the “Three-Party Partnership” involving government agencies, educational institutions, and enterprises; the “University–Enterprise–Learner” model; and the “School within Enterprise” model. These approaches aim to enhance workforce training at all levels, from short-term vocational training to university education, particularly in fields with high demand such as Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, Logistics, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Garment Manufacturing, Automation, Tourism, and Service Industries.

In addition, Hong Duc University and vocational training institutions are expected to develop professional development plans for lecturers and instructors, update teaching content in line with technological advancements, and cooperate with enterprises in designing curricula and training materials. These efforts will contribute to improving professional qualifications and practical skills for workers engaged in production, business, and service sectors.
