Overview of the Conference.
Alongside academic excellence, volunteerism and community engagement continued to flourish. The model project “Students Join Hands to Build New Rural Areas” in Phu Le Commune (Quan Hoa District) was successfully implemented with a total investment of over 100 million VND, leaving a positive impression of Hong Duc students in the hearts of local people. Other meaningful initiatives included “Red Sunday – Voluntary Blood Donation,” “Tree Planting Festival,” “Remembering the Source,” and charity programs, attracting thousands of students and contributing thousands of blood units and hundreds of gifts to disadvantaged individuals.
The Student Association also emphasized international integration, launching movements to improve English proficiency and enhance foreign language outcomes. Cultural exchange activities with Lao international students were regularly organized, strengthening Vietnam–Laos friendship and fostering a multicultural, inclusive campus environment.
In addition, the Association focused on organizational development. Three professional training courses for student leaders were organized, providing certificates for over 500 participants. Every year, more than 100 outstanding students were introduced to the Party for membership consideration, affirming the Association’s role as a cradle for nurturing future leaders of the University.
