It is the dry winter sunlight blending softly with the gentle fragrance of grapefruit blossoms and areca flowers drifting in the wind. And it is that indescribable feeling of nostalgia—when we suddenly realize the old year has quietly passed, taking with it worries and unfinished thoughts, yet leaving behind meaningful achievements built with perseverance and dedication.
The Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo evokes the image of the horse—a symbol of strength, endurance, and continuous forward movement. In this season of renewal, that symbol reflects the journey of lecturers and students of Hong Duc University throughout the past year. It has been a journey marked by early morning classes before sunrise, long academic discussions, and silent hours spent turning the pages of textbooks and research materials. Day by day, dreams of knowledge have been planted and cultivated. Some successes have already been recognized, while other plans remain unfinished. Yet together, they form a journey that deserves respect and pride.

For students, Tet is not only a holiday break—it is a meaningful time to look back, to reflect, and to nurture dreams as well as responsibilities that are gradually forming toward family, school, and society. For teachers, Tet offers a quiet pause between professional life and personal experience, allowing life lessons to become depth and inspiration for future lectures and guidance.
