Overview of the Working Session
During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential directions for cooperation in training, scientific research, technology transfer, skills development, and international collaboration in higher education. Representatives of the Handicrafts Chamber of Erfurt commended Hong Duc University for its strong training capacity and dynamic, modern learning environment. They also expressed their desire to promote long-term cooperation, particularly in connecting German enterprises with Vietnamese students and lecturers through internship programs, professional exchange activities, and technology transfer initiatives.

Speaking at the reception, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bùi Văn Dũng, President of Hong Duc University, emphasized the university’s commitment to expanding international cooperation. He noted that this exchange not only strengthens the friendship and partnership between Hong Duc University and the City of Erfurt but also provides opportunities for students to access Germany’s practice-oriented vocational education model, aligning with current global integration trends.
He also expressed hope that in the near future, both sides would continue to deepen cooperation in training, research, and cultural exchange. In particular, the university looks forward to collaborating in the establishment of a German Cultural Center at Hong Duc University, which would support students and lecturers in learning the German language and cultural practices, thereby expanding opportunities for study, internships, and employment in Germany.

During the program, Hong Duc University students raised questions about study policies, vocational training programs in Germany, and post-graduation career opportunities—reflecting their interest and proactive spirit toward international integration. Representatives of the Erfurt delegation provided detailed answers, sharing information about the German vocational education system, labor market needs, and support available for Vietnamese students studying and working in Germany.

Delegates Witness the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreements
Earlier the same day, during a working session with the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, the Erfurt delegation discussed cooperation in vocational education, high-quality human resource training, expert exchange, and the development of training programs aligned with German standards, aiming at establishing a collaborative framework between Thanh Hoa Province and Thuringia State in the coming years.
