This activity is part of the University's strategy to enhance international integration and cooperation, aiming to expand opportunities in academic exchange, research collaboration, and student training in the context of global integration.

Both sides exchange and discuss multiple areas of cooperation for the coming period
During the meeting, the two sides discussed key directions for future cooperation, focusing on areas such as: international joint training programs in strength disciplines; student and faculty exchanges; short-term training courses; international workshops; scientific research collaboration; and the development of educational, technological, and communication projects. Both universities expressed their desire to build a long-term, effective, and practical partnership that aligns with international standards in training quality and research capacity.
At the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Chí Thành briefed the delegation on the overall development of Hồng Đức University. Currently, the University offers 07 doctoral programs, 21 master’s programs, 40 undergraduate programs, and 01 college-level program, with a stable training scale of approximately 12,000 learners. As of October 2025, the University employs 704 staff members, including 427 lecturers, of which 28 are Associate Professors and 193 hold doctoral degrees.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Vice President of Hong Duc University, emphasizes that expanding cooperation with Woosuk University (Korea) brings valuable opportunities in learning, research, and cultural exchange for faculty and students of both institutions.
Scientific research, application, and technology transfer activities at the University continue to show strong progress. Many scientific and technological products have been granted intellectual property rights and received the Vietnam Science and Technology Awards. To date, the University has published 1,648 scientific papers, including 345 articles in prestigious international journals. International cooperation activities have become increasingly diversified and substantive, contributing significantly to improving training and research quality.

Affirming the University's commitment to international cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngô Chí Thành emphasized: “Hồng Đức University places great importance on international collaboration in education and scientific research. Expanding cooperation with Woosuk University – a prestigious educational institution in Korea – is a significant step in our development strategy toward global integration, multidisciplinary growth, and sustainability. We firmly believe that this partnership will create valuable opportunities for learning, research, and cultural exchange for both universities’ faculty and students.”

In their remarks, Ms. Shin Hyunsil and Mr. Yang Kyu Suk highly appreciated the academic capacity, faculty expertise, and facilities of Hồng Đức University. They expressed the strong desire to establish close cooperation in areas of mutual interest, especially student and faculty exchange programs and joint research projects that will foster mutual understanding and promote educational development between the two institutions.

The working session between Hồng Đức University and Woosuk University (Korea) marked the beginning of many practical cooperation opportunities in training and scientific research. Both sides agreed to continue exchanging information and move toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the near future, aiming to build a sustainable, effective, and mutually beneficial partnership.
