Overview of the working session
Mr. Laurent Delon is a seasoned expert with over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and semiconductors. He has held senior leadership positions at Qualcomm and Nokia, and currently serves as Trade Advisor of France (CCEF South West Section). Throughout his career, he has played a key role in strategic business planning, product development, and fostering international partnerships in the high-tech industry.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dau Ba Thin emphasized that HDU is currently offering several programs related to semiconductors. To further develop this training sector, the university seeks support from international experts in terms of faculty development, infrastructure, training policies, and connections with global universities and research institutions. These efforts aim to create opportunities for staff and students to enhance their learning and research capacity.

During the session, both sides exchanged information about LJ1D Consulting, its experts and partners, as well as HDU’s current training programs related to semiconductors. They also discussed LJ1D’s activities in Vietnam and the company’s commitments to contributing to the Vietnamese semiconductor ecosystem over the past two years.

Both parties also discussed joint consulting projects (HDU–LJ1D) on semiconductor development, including the establishment of laboratories, preparation of training materials, and the use of specialized software.

At the conclusion of the meeting, LJ1D Consulting and HDU agreed to jointly develop a proposal for semiconductor human resources training in Thanh Hoa province. This marks the beginning of a strategic partnership in advancing training and research in this cutting-edge field.
