Overview of the working session
The delegation included Ms. Lee Hye Young – Senior Manager of Sustainable Development, Save the Children Korea; Mr. Choong Seong Kim – Senior Manager of Communications and Sustainable Development, Hyundai Motor Group Korea; Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Hang – Program Manager, Save the Children Vietnam; along with other members of the field delegation.
Representing HDU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung – Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Giang – Head of the Science, Technology & International Cooperation Office; Dr. Le Van Cuong – Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries; and faculty members from the department.

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung emphasized the practical significance and benefits of the programs and projects sponsored by Save the Children Vietnam and Hyundai Motor Group Korea. He highlighted the ongoing project, “Climate Change Education for Sustainable Development,” which has contributed significantly to improving the knowledge and skills of secondary school students in Thanh Hoa Province in protecting the environment, mitigating, and adapting to climate change through integrated educational activities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dung also expressed his delight in welcoming the field delegation, who came in preparation for the upcoming volunteer program. He affirmed the university’s commitment to providing the best conditions for the successful implementation of the program and to further spreading the positive impacts of projects supported by Save the Children and Hyundai Motor Group.

Dr. Le Van Cuong - Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries on behalf of the project management board, presented an overview of the project’s progress and the proposed activities of the Hyundai volunteer delegation, which are expected to take place in April 2025.

During the session, both sides engaged in discussions regarding the core content of the project and detailed plans for the volunteer program. The field delegation also toured and worked with HDU's team of lecturers and experts who are organizing the climate change education initiatives at the Climate Change Education Center.
