Hong Duc University Delegation Visits Singapore to Expand International Collaboration

As part of an official working visit to Singapore on July 8, 2025, a delegation from Hong Duc University (HDU) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University – visited and worked with several reputable organizations and institutions in Singapore. The visit aimed to promote international cooperation in education and training, as well as to honor the shared historical and cultural values between Vietnam and Singapore.

Collaboration with Accelebator Pte. Ltd.: Advancing Innovation and Entrepreneurship

During the visit, the HDU delegation had a productive meeting with Accelebator Pte. Ltd., a prestigious Singaporean consultancy specializing in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital skills training across Asia.

The Delegation of Hong Duc University Visits Accelebator Pte Ltd, Singapore

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung and Mr. Tan Choo Kok – Director of Accelebator – discussed strategic cooperation initiatives focused on supporting startup training and skill development for students, co-organizing seminars and innovation forums, and building networks among entrepreneurs, experts, and investors in the ASEAN region.

Key areas of collaboration include:

  • Developing HDU’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship;

  • Sending experts to deliver specialized training programs in innovation and entrepreneurship;

  • Co-hosting startup events such as Techfest and Demo Day;

  • Providing consultancy for startup development targeting students, young entrepreneurs, and local enterprises.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Dung emphasized,

“Hong Duc University is committed to international collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship. We believe that Accelebator’s companionship will significantly enhance our faculty and students’ startup capacities and foster a culture of creativity within our community.”

Mr. Tan Choo Kok expressed strong support for this partnership and affirmed Accelebator’s readiness to implement specific cooperative activities in the near future.

Visit to the President Ho Chi Minh Statue: Honoring Historical Bonds

The delegation also visited the President Ho Chi Minh Statue located within the Asian Civilisations Museum on the banks of the Singapore River. This meaningful cultural monument commemorates President Ho Chi Minh's time in Singapore during his journey to find a path to national liberation.

Another highlight of the visit was a tour and exchange at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) – one of the world’s top universities, renowned for its excellence in science, technology, engineering, and innovation.
