The PUM delegation included Mr. Bert Jan Post, Managing Director of PUM Vietnam; Mr. Tran Quoc Long, Representative of PUM Vietnam; and Mr. Michiel Kupers, Representative of PUM Netherlands. Representing Hong Duc University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Vice President of the University, along with leaders of departments, faculties, centers, and affiliated units.

Overview of the working session
At the beginning of the program, representatives from both sides introduced an overview of their organizations. Hong Duc University highlighted its notable achievements in education, scientific research, digital transformation, and international cooperation in recent years. Meanwhile, PUM Netherlands presented its history, operational model, and advisory programs currently implemented in Vietnam and many other countries.

During the working session, PUM experts shared potential areas of cooperation with Hong Duc University, particularly in professional consulting, specialized training, business connectivity, and expert support. These activities aim to enhance the quality of human resources and expand opportunities for lecturers and students to access international standards.

On behalf of the University’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Vice President of Hong Duc University, expressed sincere thanks to the PUM delegation for their visit and working session. He highly appreciated PUM’s reputation and contributions to capacity development in Vietnam, and reaffirmed that Hong Duc University always places great importance on international cooperation as a key driving force for improving training quality, updating new knowledge, and expanding the learning environment for students. The University also expressed its desire to soon concretize cooperation contents in line with the needs of each specialized unit.

At the meeting, both sides launched an initial academic and professional exchange program between PUM and Hong Duc University, laying a foundation for future cooperation in training, consultancy, and capacity building for lecturers. The two parties also held in-depth discussions on cooperation opportunities in education, research, and capacity development, with several proposals raised, including: receiving PUM experts for training and in-depth consultancy; co-organizing workshops and short-term training courses; collaborating in applied research; supporting business connections; and moving toward the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish long-term cooperation.

The working session took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, opening up promising prospects for future collaboration between Hong Duc University and PUM Netherlands in training, consultancy, and professional development.
