Overview of the meeting
Attending the meeting on behalf of Hong Duc University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Vice President of the University, along with representatives from various departments, centers, and faculties, including the Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Communication, as well as lecturers directly involved in supervising the students. Representing Polytech Tours were three students: Sarrazin Valentin, Amelladi Mehdi, and Fougeray Mattéo.

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh expressed his pleasure in welcoming the students from Polytech Tours to study, intern, and engage in academic exchange at Hong Duc University. He emphasized that collaboration with reputable educational partners in France, including Polytech Tours, is a key direction in the University’s strategy for internationalization. Through student and faculty exchange programs as well as joint scientific research, Hong Duc University continues to enhance the quality of its education and gradually integrate more deeply into the global higher education system.

On behalf of the visiting students, Fougeray Mattéo expressed his honor and appreciation for the opportunity to study and undertake internships at Hong Duc University. He highlighted that the academic and cultural experiences gained during their time at the University are invaluable, helping them broaden their professional knowledge, improve practical skills, and deepen their cultural understanding.
During the meeting, both sides also reviewed the outstanding results of their cooperation in recent years. Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2019 and renewed in 2024, Hong Duc University and Polytech Tours have effectively implemented various collaborative programs in education, scientific research, and academic exchange. To date, 29 French students have come to study and intern at Hong Duc University, while six students from the University have participated in study and internship programs in France. In addition, numerous faculty members and professors from both institutions have engaged in teaching, research, and postgraduate training activities. Notably, the two universities have jointly published nearly 30 scientific papers in prestigious international journals and conferences, including many articles ranked in Q1 and Q2 categories according to the Web of Science (WoS) database.

The meeting not only strengthened the cooperative relationship between the two universities but also opened up new opportunities for high-quality human resource training, scientific research, and international academic exchange, contributing to the ongoing development and global integration of higher education.
