Prof. Dr. Ngo Chi Thanh, Vice President of Hong Duc University; Ms. Lynna Vo, Fulbright English Teaching Assistant; Ms. Chinh Nguyen, EducationUSA Educational Adviser; representatives of relevant university departments; and a large number of students from across the University.

Overview of the Study Abroad Program Introduction Session
Co-organized by the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant working at Hong Duc University and an EducationUSA Educational Adviser, the session focused on two main areas. First, it introduced students to fundamental knowledge about the history of the founding of the United States through an interactive and engaging presentation. Second, it provided students with an updated and reliable overview of the U.S. higher education system and undergraduate study opportunities in one of the world's leading destinations for international education.

During the session, the speakers presented an overview of the history and development of the United States and discussed practical aspects of studying in the country. These included admission requirements, application preparation timelines, English-language proficiency requirements, as well as scholarship programs and financial aid opportunities available to international students.
The question-and-answer session was particularly engaging, with students actively raising questions about scholarship policies, adapting to an international academic environment, and career pathways after graduation. The open exchange provided students with a clearer understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with studying in the United States, while encouraging them to develop appropriate plans for their future academic and professional journeys.
A notable highlight of the program was the presentation of First Prize and Second Prize certificates to two Hong Duc University students who achieved outstanding results in the English Spelling Bee competition organized by the Fulbright Program in Vietnam. Their achievements not only recognized their English proficiency and individual efforts but also demonstrated the positive outcomes of the University's ongoing activities in foreign-language education, skills development, and international integration.
Beyond providing information about studying abroad, the program clearly reflected Hong Duc University's commitment to educational internationalization and global integration. Through activities that connect students with international educational resources and perspectives, the University continues to foster an open and dynamic academic environment, inspire students to pursue global opportunities, and encourage them to proactively develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
